Older Engine found

I was looking on Craigslist and I found this... [IMG]http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r238/Marksac/VJDBetsrgquIhAd73uLIh6lWLrsw.jpg[/IMG] Its a older 10hp briggs mounted as a generator. He wants $100 for it. Is that a good amount for a running engine?

Is it aluminum or (CI) cast iron? A running CI engine is definitely worth $100. If aluminum it becomes questionable. From the picture it looks like the 11 hp aluminum generator engine I just put into my B-1. Do you have the Model number? If so, you can look it up on the Briggs web site and find out what it is. Having said the above, $100 for the engine and generator isn't too bad of a deal. Oh, I would also value an aluminum engine with a CI sleeve more than a straight aluminum engine. My opinion,

That is a cast iron engine, if it really runs good and you have a tractor it will work on, then its a good buy.
