Sunstar & legacy Deck interchangeability

I was wondering if the mower deck from a legacy will fit on a sunstar. I have a 20hp sunstar and have had no luck finding a deck close by, so i was wondering if a legacy deck may fit, which will make my hunt a little easier. thanks john

Perhaps, but the sunstar deck is driven from the opposite side as the legacy, IIRC. I think it would be hard to make it work, but I am not for sure.

Al thanks will do' ps. i was told by one simplicity dealer that the first generation legacies used the same mower deck as the sunstars, the mounting hardware was different, and according to him is not available. He also said that the first generation of legacies used the same snowblower and again used a different hitch kit that was available.
