opinions please, value question w/pics

Okay, Let's assume that both of these tractors are in good running condition with good trans and decks. The wonderboy needs a paint job. no holes or large rust spots.

The Wards Garden Mark has the wrong hood and grill, needs a paint job but has a HYDRO LIFT.

Now could I get a rough idea what each is worth and what you would really pay for them. Not $1 or free like we all would like to pay. But a real price. I am going to try and get the Wards even though the hood is wrong. Thanks, Tom

The Wonderboy looks pretty strait $100 to $150 The Gardenmark has hydraulic lift and that alone should be worth $200 to $250.... JMHO:D

Tom, I got a really nice working B-210 with all parts there, and an entire new electrical system for just $50 on ebay. But, if I had to pay a "real" price, I would not go any higher than $75. for the Wards, and $100 for the Simplicity. But, it's just me... Value is in the eye of the beholder.

I've paid over $100 for a much worse looking 700. I replaced many parts with parts I had in the pile. The tractor served me very well. I feel it was worth every penny or more. I would expect to pay at least $50-75 for a rolling chasis with a good BGB.

A small question; am I missing something or is there a shaft not out the front of the 700??

Good eye Levi, You also notice that it has the wrong front wheels and the rears look to be a little wider than the stock 600's.? Tom what do you want to do with the tractors? If you are parting them out than you could pay $200 each and still double or triple your money, as restoration pieces it will take some cash to do either one and so the value is less. If you go home with them and are happy than you paid the right price.^ jw

Levi, It looks too me like the hood and grill were just draped over the front of the tractor for the picture. IMO that part looks stock.

Wrong front tires/wheels and wrong rear tires/wheels as well as wrong hood/grill on the Wards Garden Mark. Hood looks like it belongs on tractor next to it.
