SimpleTom
Since today was about 60 plus degrees out I decided it would be a good day to fix my two Broadmoor transmissions with parts from the snowblower trans I got at the local scrapyard. I was able to remove the worn gear in the one trans with no difficulties. I replaced it with the same one from the snowblower trans. It went very smooth. I had that one together and working in no time. The other trans which I thought only had one broken pinion bolt actually had a little more damage. Here is what happened to it. Two of the gears had wear and three of the bolts were damaged. I was able to use all the bolts and pinion gears from the snowblower trans. Not bad fixing two trans with one $5 snowblower trans. MPH
Love it when someone can fix an item from "stuff" they have around. Congradulations on your 5 dollar buy.
