Simplicity 3108

Hi all! :) I was out and about today when I ran across a Simplicity 3108. Body wise it's in beautiful shape but the owner is unsure if engine or trans is bad (of course he purchased it at an auction). The question is ??? are parts available for this machine? I did a search here and didn't get much info? I know it's not the real deal but it is a cute little thing and if the price is right would make a good project? Any suggestions?

Most parts for all of these machines are still available from a good dealer. The 3105, 3108, 3110 were rear engine rider mowers. Made in 1979 - 1982. The 3112 was a large frame garden tractor made in 1969. Probably has a Briggs engine on it, parts should be available for that part of it.
