BroadmoorMan
Yup, it happened today. Pulled out the 728 to work on the deck and about 2 hours later I noticed a oil streak coming from the engine. It had just started because the engine bolt was wet with oil and a oil spot under that bolt. Is this serious or should I just wipe it up and move on? firefoxz1
Do you know were it came from?
D-17_Dave
Did you have the mower at an odd angle or lifted so that the oil could run into the cyl.? Looks like much to much oil to let it run like this but if you pushed the oil into where it doesn't belong then it should drain back on it's own and youshould be OK. BroadmoorMan
Well Tom I'm not sure were it came from. And Dave I have not had it at an odd angle ever since I put the engine back in. I do have the left rear rim off to paint it but I don't think that would do it because of the pivot.
Chris727
I would try to fix it, or it will just make a mess and cause frustration later.
MarksA-C
It looks like its from the breather area. I would look to see if the breather bolts are loose or something like that near that area.
