Tiller Bracket - Dimensions??

Recommended Posts

DGBork
Hi all, I have pieced together a 32" tiller and (most of)the tiller drive for my Simplicity 700 - but i am missing one bracket. I need the bracket that holds the 3" pulley guard and the end of the belt tensioner off the tractor frame. It is the part labelled (AW) in my manual, and Simplicity part number 105187 NLA-BRACKET-BELT. It is NLA as you can see. It looks like a pretty simple "U" shaped bracket - since it is NLA, i want to make one. Anyone have the approximate dimensions on this bracket?? Thanks! Dave Borkman Saunderstown, RI

Hi John, Thanks for the offer! I'll see how i do making a bracket from the drawings GregC pointed out to me - if i have troubel i will take you up on that offer. Have we ever met? Did you buy a sickle bar mower from me a couple of years ago? Thanks, Dave

Boy, time sure flies Dave! I guess it was a few years ago. I have a complete tiller, so if there's anything else you need just let me know. John

Dave and John, why haven't we seen you too at Colchester????? It's only an hour or so from you! I hope to see you there at one show this year. Dave I also have a complete tiller so if you need to see anything on it, you can let me know as well. I'm right over the border in CT, right off of Route 6.

Hi Elon, I went to a few of the Brooklyn shows and I think probably to Colchester the first year simpletractors went. Too much to do - too little time?? Maybe I'll get there this year. John

Hi Elon, I guess i am in the same boat as John - too many projects and not enough time. I did go to the show when it was at the old Brooklyn fairgrounds afew years ago. The kids are geting old enough that it is easier to travel with them - so i'll try to get to more shows... Thanks to all for help on the tiller bracket! Dave Borkman Saunderstown, RI
