lboy1971 0 Posted March 31, 2007 Picked these up today. A 40 inch wide front lawn dethatcher for the landlord/sovereigns. Also a rear mount grass bagger cart I beleave for a Sunstar. The simplicity number on that one is 1691358. Only got the cart, no cover or anything else. It's 46 inches wide, 32.5 inches long and 7.5 inches deep. It also dumps. The hitch is 13 inches wide center to center. Might come in handy for moving stuff around.
MPH 12 Posted April 1, 2007 Nice score. Would it be possible to get an under side shot of ther detacher?
lboy1971 0 Posted April 1, 2007 Here are some more pictures. Everying except the left front caster wheels turns. The engagement lever is held in place with a bracket welded to the middle of the lift rod. I've already had 3 guys message me that want to buy it. 4 if you count a guy that knew about me getting it before I finally picked it up.
PhanDad 3,777 Posted April 1, 2007 Great finds. I believe the cart will fit both the Sunstar and Sovereign tractors with left discharge decks. The one I acquired fits both (model 1691526). It uses an "intermediate" hitch that bolts to the back of the tractor and is different for each style tractor. The same cart is used for the newer right discharge tractors, but the underneath tow frame is offset to the other side. It's definitely great for hauling stuff and extremely easy to back up with the "stiff frame"/caster wheels setup. If you have a Sunstar and are interested, I believe I still have the "intermediate" hitch. The Sunstar hitch came with my unit, I had to buy the hitch parts for my Sovereign. lboy1971 0 Posted April 1, 2007 A weed cutter just sold on ebay last week for $435. I have one that's a little rough paint wise but everything works fine. I missed out on one last fall at an auction 25-30 miles from me. I went to the auction with my neighbor but he didn't want to stay at that one and wanted to go to another. His truck so I had to go. Didn't feel like buying that stuff and carrying it home that far on foot. I did think about it though, lol. I met up about a month ago with a guy I know that was at that auction. He bought the weed cutter for $10. He also got a front counter weight,$10, Rear counter weight with donuts(2) $10, older curved shield tiller $10, rear cultivator $10, mckissic rear mount sprayer $10, snowthrower $10. Everything was in almost new condition. Needless to say he'd have had to pay alot more if I had been there. He said he was the only guy bidding on any of it. There wasn't a tractor, just the attachments.
