Can anyone please tell a MO. boy where to look for parts or another transaxle for this little beast. Also did any other manufacturer use this same trans-axle.

First place would be to place a classified here in the classifieds forum. The next would be to watch eBay and the eBay forum here.

Marty - The AC B207 and 208 used a different transaxle than the early Broadmoor, 707, 717 Simplicity versions. Both had 2 forward speeds and no PTO provision. However, you may be able to "transplant" the entire rear end (male pivot piece on back) from a Broadmoor. I have always wondered if this is the case, so I am hoping for a good answer from someone who knows, please . I have never had a chance to look closely at a B207 or 208, but I believe that the pulley/belt configuration is the same. If it fits, the Simplicity tranny should be just as good. Withe the Simplicity brackest, you could install a later Broadmoor tranny that had 3 forward speeds and a PTO shaft for running a tiller or renovator. The "Homesteader" was AC's match for the later Broadmoors. I am not sure which transmission they used. Tom

The transmissions in these was made by peerless..I don't know much about them though.I think several of the parts are still avalable through a Simplicity dealer..It would help to have a parts manual with your part numbers for them though as I am not sure how much parts looking books they have on the Allis Tom I don't know much about the Allis small frames but the B-207E that I had was a 3 speed peerless transmission..And yes the belt configuration is the same but..somewhere in the driveline they have a different size pulley as the belt sizes are different..Found that out the expensive way.:(!

I just tore a 728 tranny apart and everthing is good but the short axle. If anyone knows if these parts will fit speak up now. I also have everything from the pivot back except the brake drum and lining.

The 728 transaxle (Simplicity manufactured) is different from the Peerless unit in the AC B207. Parts will not interchange. Tom
