Al 6 Posted April 7, 2007 Hi, We are doing a quick "hopefully" 25hp repower on a Schweiss 18-50 ZT. This is a 1986 model, has a joy stick control and the control tower is adjustable back and forward. These things are built as tough as a Sherman Tank and have the same hydrostatic setup as many skidloaders. My 8 yr old grandson that spoils me was over this morning and into "getting the old engine out". Hope these pics come out OK, if they don't whoever fixes them thanks in advance. Al Eden Front view. Left rear view old engine and hydro. Removing the screens. Removing the engine hardware. Should be a fun project. Ought to be able to cut trees and grind out stumps with this. andrewk 0 Posted April 7, 2007 When did Caleb pass Silver school?:D I can't believe how much he has grown... time flies I guess. Looks like a cool project! Fairly open too, should be a pretty simple repower, or at least it looks like it. I'll have to post some pics of my latest project, a Target concrete saw with a 4 cylinder Wisconsin... Gonna put a Vanguard on that thing? It sure looks like a tank... Andy
