Saturday's haul

Son Sam and I made a little road trip Sat. We spent the mourning at SLI and picked up the sweepster. That was an e-bay purchase from a few mounths back and Bill was kind enough to pick it up and store it for me for awhile. The load in the trunk also came from SLI. Lots of lake effect snow made for an interesting day's drive in the salt as wittnessed by all the crude on my SuburbanC Looks like I'll be doing some washing and waxing before I leave out next week.B):O BTW Brenda, if Sam keeps playing with the H-3 replica he got it'll need an overhaul by next week.dOd8D The Twin Twenty will get some TLC and hopefully I'll have it at S/F. Hope to see you all there.

Nice haul! Why is it so bright in your pictures? Is it that "sun" that I've heard about? Haven't seen it much around here!

Sam sure did want to open that box in the store sm01. You sure have a good kid there David....cute and well behaved :) :) It was good to see you again too. Would love to make it to spring fling....still thinking about it. Brenda

Kenny, the sun was out nice today, for a change. But it was still on the cool side for spring. I also brighten most of my posted pics up a bit as the digital cameras tend to take a darker picture it seems like when I try to post them on the web. LOL, Brenda, it was open by the time we got to the interstate.dOd:D

Nice tractor. Don't see to many of the Twin Twenty versions like you have there. Looks to be a collector's item! Good luck with it!

The deeper I get into it the more it looks like a basket case. I was hoping to have it at least up and running at S/F. I'm not sure that's doable at this point. We'll have to see how things go.

I would love to find a Twin Twenty someday. I like to go for the more unusual tractors and that definitely fits the bill for me.

Ray, the Twin Twenty is a Mongomery Wards tractor not a Homelite although the paint scheme could easily make it mistaken for a Homelite. Dan
