I think I jumped the gun,as you can see I restore and own Allis Chalmers but I had J.D. lawn and garden tractors. You talk about getting a ribbing I sold my last J.D.a 140 H3 and bought this B112.As you can see it needs help and two weeks after I bought it I messed up my right sholder at work. Now on April 23 I get operated on and I will not have use of it till August,as you guys can see I am under a little STRESS .What I want to do with the 112 is puller and home use(small cart or snow blower)LOL.I would like to be able to work on it a little after the operation and just trying to get it ready for that day.I do see your site will be a help and I am going to give it another chance.Once again I was wrong and I apologizedz

Sorry to hear about your shoulder. Hope everything comes out well for you and you heal up fast. No need to apologize, just jump in and be a part of the group. As far as your tractor goes I have a B-110 that I brought back to life a while ago. I modified it a bit. I put on 26x12x12 rear ag tires on it but had to raise the seat pan 1 1/2 inches to clear the tires. Good luck with your tractor and your surgery.

Barrie, I am glad that you have decided to stay around:D Looks too me like you have a pretty solid B112 there, it should make for a great restoration project. Hope that you get along good with your shoulder surgery and the recovery. Mike

No need to apologize. We all have different views and take things differently from others. Just keep coming on, ask questions, comment on others, and try to answer some when you can. I am positive by the end of the week, all will be forgotten. I'm very glad you are going to stick around.

Glad your staying, I understand about shoulders. I bought this 620 as a project for the winter of 05 then fell on the ice and did the left shoulder big time (22mm hole in cuff and bicep ruptured). I had to build up the strength as much as possible before they did surgery. so December till end of march building strength, April and may and part of June in sling and finley full use of left shoulder in mid September. so much for 06 then on to right shoulder it was worn out and worse than left. had surgery March 2 and should be out of sling by mid may and hope to be using it normally by end of August. the 620 is still waiting, glad I have the 616 and other 620. sorry for the long post but I feel so lucky to have done so well.

I agree with Scott, it takes a big man to apologize. I know because I am happily married!:) Sounds like you are making a good move getting rid of the green stuff{}. I am surrounded by them around this area, so it is good to come on here!^

Under the circumstances, if you know the tractor runs, I would want to gather up items to convert vari-drive to straight three speed. I don't know if A-C had a six speed (Hi-Lo belts)available. You can put in a classified on this website and gather technical know how also. Then the rest will have to wait. I wish you well after your surgery.

Hang in there Barrie we're all behind you. Good luck with your shoulder. My doctor told me he needed to jack my butt up and slide a new body under me.

Good luck on your shoulder surgery. Sorry we came off wrong at first. We all get tired and frustrated from time to time and tend to spout off a little. After being the VP and Pres of this site, I know how frustrating it can be. I have been with this site since shortly after Kent started it. Like myself, most of us hang around to help others. Even though some of us are called experts, we still learn new things quite frequently. I have a folder of printed pages from this site. It is currently about 4 inches thick. Anything I see that could help me later gets printed and put into that folder. You know, when we get eligible to apply for AARP, we have the right to be grouchy once-in-a-while.:D

Hope your shoulder/body can be rehabilitated as well as these old tractors that just seem to keep on going. The problem is it's harder to find good interchangeable body parts or buy a donor machine to keep in reserve.
