Ronald Hribar 126 Posted April 9, 2007 I disassembled my clutch on the 7117 last night. First thing that I noticed when I loosened lock nut was that clutch would engae and disengage properly. Second thing was the difficulty takeing assembly off engagement rod. Is there any other way except for going under tractor and takeing linkage off Pto lever? Then when I had it all off from tractor, I noticed the the ends that go on to engagement spring, I had on backwards. One end has a relief in it to fit over inner snap ring. The one I had there rubbed on frame of tractor, put correct one in its place, by placing ends in correct location, I believe I gained enough clearance for everything to work properly. I thought I must have put it together wrong, or was missing pieces. I think I would still like to see some sort of spring inside of cover to assist in release.
