Don't know too much about them, but I'd love to get my hands on one! Nice score!

Thanks for the info. It has 1200 hours on it. Needs some tender loving care but seems to be strong and every bit a diesel. Would like to hear from any owners that have seen or heard anything about this era of Simplicity/Allis. Thanks,

Hello Friends! I've been away from here for a few years, some of you will remember me as LBS. Glad to be back! I've got a 7790. I use the thing every day in the summer. I love the thing. Parts are still easy to get for the engine. I get parts through Hoover Diesel Service (717) 656-3322. Actually I'm thinking about selling mine and getting an Allis 720. Elon, you really want one? Not sure I really do, but I drove a 9020 once and loved every minute of it. It was so easy to steer and it just floats over rough ground. We have a lot of ground here with holes and bumps, and I'm tired of bouncing over them! If you really want my 7790, give me a call or email. Lawrence
