piston help

need a little help i am looking for and oversize piston and ring set fo early briggs motors 19 d and 23d my local supplier said piston is no longer available from briggs still can get gasket set also need valves is there any one out there that makes after market parts for these engines?

go to Stens.com and type in the part # you are looking for they may have aftermarket that will work. You will then have to find a stens dealer locally or I'm sure someone on line may be able to get parts from them for you.

What oversize are you looking for? Briggs still has part #99949 available. That's .020 oversize.

Briggs still sells the .010 & .020 oversize pistons online for $ 69.55 for these two engines. 19d & 23d use the same piston. The valves on the engine are different though. The 19d valves are still sold by Briggs. Exhaust listed for $ 31.90 & intake for $ 22.70.
