Are points still available for the 23d engine? if so what do I ask for?

Roger I believe its a 23D, but thats an early B10/landlord 9hp engine. Drawings are not available on line, but Briggs will mail you a copy. I believe points are the same as for 10hp, 24300 series. Call Sandy Lake to be sure.

The points are still available through Briggs online for $21.25. Part # 298185. You can find aftermarket ones cheaper for around $ 16.00. Try Foley Belsaw for aftermarket. You might want to switch over to an electronic ignition module for around $18.95 if your not worried about preserving the original look.

Thanks guys, I called into town and got the points and condenser for 30.85 Whoa!! but it was worth it to get them right away.
