ZippoVarga 75 Posted April 13, 2007 If your half inch drill will go only one way then rotate your drill, or the pump 180 degrees using a belt between them to get the pump to turn counter clockwise. Or try mounting a small diameter wheel like a training wheel off a bike to your drill using a bolt and a couple nuts to clamp the wheel to the bolt, chuck up the bolt and run the tire against the pulley as you are facing the pump's drive end. This will rotate the pump in a CCW direction allowing you to determine if it works or not. Let us know!!!
samson 1 Posted April 14, 2007 I had the same problem so I borrowed a 1/2 inch reversable drill and it worked. When you go to install the unit into your tractor it is not the easiest thing. You can down load the instructions and print them. I took every thing off so that I wouldn't have trouble,it sure helps not to have anything in the way. It takes alittle longer but I thought it was worth the trouble.
