voltage regulator wiring question

well the crawler has roared to life...(and i mean roared...governor needs a bit of tweaking) man it is fun to rip up the lawn and driveway with! anyway..the wiring was destroyed prior to me getting it...cut wire everywhere..i have now got a starting circuit i think, found a bad ampmeter..which is what led to all the wiring being cut and spliced..and now am working on the generator circuit. the problem is the voltage regulator has 4 posts (no idea if all were being utilized) 1 GEN 2 F 3 BAT 4 L and the generator has 2 1 A 2 F and of course i have a Batt connection comin from my ampmeter so..im guessing Gen=A F=F Bat=BAt so what the heck is the L post on the VR? thanks scott

well jeeeze stan ya dont have to be cruel...grin..thanks guys, wires to lights were jumped off of somethin else...so that makes more sense. scott
