idahodeere 0 Posted April 15, 2007 [ I recently purchased a 720 with a ark loader. The front spindles are bent due to lifting more than what the tractor was designed to dudo. The previous owner had a machine shop make new ones for him and I am sure that they were not heat treated and thats why they were bent. Are any original spindles available as I would like to repair it and get it going again, also has anyone installed poer steering on one of these. I am fairly new so I would appreciate yor input Thanks for your help Idaho deere
wilm169 1 Posted April 15, 2007 WELCOME TO THE CLUB!! They made 2 differant front axels for these tractors the later models were heaver. You will need to have the MFG.# to see what one you have. You will have better luck on ebay I would think. You can also put a add in the classifieds on here. http://www.simpletractors.com/club2/topic.asp?ARCHIVE=true&TOPIC_ID=65731&SearchTerms=power,max,power,steering
