Is there a visible difference between rims of the same tire size say off of a Simplicity vs. AC vs. Cub Cadet vs. Bolens??? I mean, it would not be bad karma to put a Bolens rim on an AC?? I just have some better tires with rims mounted on a Bolens that I am considering putting on an AC.....the tread pattern even looks the same....of course I would paint them the right colors.... Thanks!!!!!

The only difference that I know of is the off-set. Some rims will work if the tires don't rub on the fenders or transmission etc. I have some off-set rims that work, they have a smaller off-set and the tires are closer together. JH

The bolens I have here, the dish in the rims are backwards.

Depends on the bolens. As others have stated there are issues with the offset. I have an AC 716 with bolens rims on it, they fit but look crazy. If you have the kind that aren't backward then as long as you replace both you will be ok. Try to test-fit them before you paint them.

Deere rims don't work. I have an oil filter to support that.:o):o)
