See you have a 32 inch tiller in the adds Elon that you say you put new bearings in, do these have grease inside? I have one I got a couple years ago so new there is still paint on the tips of the tines and wonder if I should take it apart and regrease it before I use it. Went from this

To this in short order this morning

laid it down as I was taking things apart and what looked to be tranny grease started flowing {very slowly} out of an open hole in the case. My book shows no seals on the shaft, figured out, while talking to Brenda at SLI trying to order seals before they closed for the day they're sealed bearing, OK, that 911 solved. My book says to use 1.16 general purpose grease, OKkkkkkk, 1.16 What, tube of gun grease? Will gun grease turn partly liquid after 30-40 years? While cleaning it out I believe now it was grease in it and not gear lube. Nasty ole stuff

All clean and ready to put back together, was nice to find no rust inside of something for a change. Those are pretty simple, at least when they come apart easy and nothings rustted tight. Ready to go.

Got a bit of a problem where too go with it though, Lake Garden may be a few days.

Marty, yes, there is grease in the case. I used standard wheel bearing grease when I redid mine.
