PatRarick 1 Posted April 18, 2007 How about this one? Even tells how much it's pulling. http://www.simpletractors.com/simplicity/new_in_1964/more_uses.htm Something else to consider,is that with the power you have available it's pretty hard to get enough weight on the tractor to provide enough traction to tear something apart. You'll either spin out or "power out" before you break anything.
Kent 436 Posted April 18, 2007 Here's another. Just be careful -- they'll pull more weight than they can easily stop... http://www.simpletractors.com/images/new_in_1963/trailer_pg10_lg.jpg
HubbardRA 19 Posted April 18, 2007 He is not going to tear it up, if he leaves everything stock. I have a 700 that now has a 14 Hp Kohler engine on it, AG tires, nearly 300 lb of weights that I can hang on it, and it was used in tractor pulling for nearly 20 years. Only thing broke in the tractor pulling was a left side hub that cracked because we didn't check the set screws and the came loose, and we sheared a key in the axle. That's it. The sled we pulled weighs 8500 lb, and the sled completely stopped the tractor's forward motion nearly every time the tractor was hooked to it.
