tire recommendations

Hello, I've been anxiously awaiting a new set of rims I ordered from ebay. The finally got here and now I'm going to order a set of AG tires for them. This weekend looks to be dry enough to work the soil a bit so I plan to get them tomorrow. Both my sets of rims are 10.50 wide. I'm debating between Carlisle Super Lug and Carlisle Tru Power. Does anyone have experience with one or the other... good, bad, or otherwise? Any other recommendations? Any input is appreciated as always! Thanks! Chris

I have the tru power and they are great for what I do. mostly plowing snow and a little garden work. No experience with the super lugs though.

Don't have Tru Power and Super lug on the same type tractors but the super lugs on the B-112 work fine. The Tru Power on the 4040 work good too with no wheel wts but it's a totally different class tractor. I like the looks of the Tru Power a Lot better.

I'm happy with my 23x10.50x12 TruPowers, they lay very flat on my 7.5" wide rims. Experience is mostly with snow, haven't really used them on dirt.

I have four of the older style 10.50 TruPowers on my Power Trac. I really like them. They sit very flat on the ground, not rounded out. They also have more lugs than the Super Lugs so they ride a bit smoother at speed -- no clop, clop, clop of the lugs hitting... I'm not sure how they'd compare to the Super Lug's traction, but traction isn't a problem with four of them in full-time 4WD...

For wheels that wide, I assume you will be running 26x12-12 tires. The Firestone 23 degree ag tires in that size are excellent also, especially if you ever try tractor pulling. I have no idea how the compare in price though. Tim
