Onan Starter

Took the engine out of Max today to change the starter and give it a thorough cleaning. I need to call Al Eden about his starter kit because i am not getting a constant 12 volts to the starter, I believe the ignition switch is the culprit. The old starter bendix was not operating as suspected. Has anyone used Al's kit? What does it consist of? Thanks
