Ignition Key Switch for 3XXX Series Tractors

Does anyone have a generic source for an replacement ignition switch for a 3212? Mine was missing the switch when I got it. I'm a long way away from a Simplicity dealer and I'm guessing the switch is not brand specific. If you can get the Simplicity part number, I'd try your local auto parts store. I know Napa has several that will work. I think you can use any that are Briggs, as long as it has the same amount of terminals

Oh chances are that one will work from that site. You just need to figure out witch one.

Elon, Thanks, I was leaning toward that one too, but it would be nice to be sure. Too bad they don't cross reference them to a Stens or INDAK P/N. INDAK looks like they make most of the OEM key switches and even have nice charts for their standard models to tell you which contacts are closed in each position: http://www.indak.com/products/standard_products/keyswitch/3_pos_stamped.htm
