msiebern 0 Posted April 22, 2007 A week ago we had almost 3" of snow on the ground. Today I got to make the first stripes of the year, sorry, you won't see my lawn in "Better Homes & Gardens" with the great Indiana clay hills in my area. MPH 12 Posted April 24, 2007 Looks much better then snow Mike. At what point do you go from straight with driveway to curving around the tree?

It depends on which way I mow it. This time I did about 8 rounds of the entire yard reversing directions each round. Then starting near the road, which is actually the straight part, mowed back and forth ending up near the drive which is actually curved. This leaves a decreasing triangular patch when you finish up. If you look in the first picture and count in about 10 stripes, you can almost see the sorter passes with a small circular patch where I turned around. Later on in the season,I mow it on a diagonal to get some really nice angled stripes.
