rbw1052 Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 My hydro has the disengagement button stuck "in". I don't want to pry too hard to pull it out. I got it from a guy that left it out all winter. It's stuck in the disengaged position. Help!

Ronald Hribar Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 I had to use side cutter pliers to grip and raise. As long as you only grip stem in one spot you will be okay. I also unscrewed unit and pushed stem out. After it is out, polish and lubricate
rbw1052 Posted April 28, 2007 Author Posted April 28, 2007 Well, it hasn't freed up yet after three days. Can I remove this part without anything else falling apart inside? I don't have a manual on this transmission so I'm not sure what I'm getting into here.Thanks for the input!:p
