Looking for another Briggs twin cylinder

The replacement Briggs 18HP twin engine I installed in a *cough* Cub Cadet 582 decided to eat itself. The aluminum cylinder walls are nicely scored. It was never run low on oil or overheated. So...I'm looking for a good used engine that can be installed so I can sell the tractor. The 16HP or 18HP Briggs engines I need look like http://www.wheatfarm.com/ih_582/pictures/image8.jpg My dad expressed interest in buying the tractor from me, so I figured I should start it up after sitting over the winter to make sure all was well. Checked the oil, fresh gas, and cranked away. After a few seconds of spitting back through the carb, I did a quick compression check. 25psi in one side, 50psi in the other. Ouch.

I hardly hear of such serious damage under normal useage. I've also seen very good service from a rebuild. Have you priced a new set of pistons and a rebore? BTW, I wish I had something else to offer you.
