wanting to make a grader blade

belly mount grader blade, using an old plow blade. Anybody built one? Any tips/tricks/ideas? Any pix of homemade grader blades?

Do a site search for "grader blade". There are numerous articles on home built blades and hitches including one I posted. Let me know if you are unable to find the articles and I'll see if I can find them for you.

thanx Roy, had a brain fart or something, posted this question before i did a search sm00 Question for you though, seeing how i read through your bracket build: what thickness steel did you use for the bracket arms? In the pix, it almost looks like 1/2"?

Wm, If you're talking about the hitch you have a good eye. The hitch long arms/sides are 1/2" thick. Think the original hitches were 7/16" but I used available material (e.g. in stock at home).
