Traction Control Set Screws

Recommended Posts

After cussing changing the RH rear tire for years I finally bought a package of 25, 7/16-20 x 1/2" long cup point Allen set screws to replace the wheel mounting bolts in the traction control hubs on my 700, 725, B-1, and 3212V. Replacing the wheel mounting bolt with set screws makes wheels/tires easier to change. There are two bolts in the R-H traction control hub. I replaced both of them but replacement of only one will make changing tires/wheels much easier. I have an ad in the Parts For Sale forum for the excess set screws.

But Roy, you may buy more foot draggers to replace those RBTs you have. But then, you will have sold those needed set screws.:O I guess you could put an RBT diff in it. They don't need set screws.666

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
