Could someone please tell me if a deck off a 4211 would work on 6218 as the deck on the 6218 (48") is just a tad big for my yard have a chance to pickup the 4211 with bad rearend for 100.00 thank you.

I am not very familiar with those models but I believe the mounting points would be the same, but it is possible the deck drive is different.

It Should work. The mouting points are about the same but the PTO engage link might ned to be a bit changed if its the wrong length.
