Simplicity314
My 23FB needs a new coil (flywheel--not car/battery type)--If you're not familiar with them the coil is hollow and a metal core slips through it and that is clipped onto the armature. A Briggs NOS coil for it runs between $80 and $110 from what I've found, though there are knockoffs for as little as $25 or so. Are these coils, or knockoff coils in general if no one is familiar with the F models, as reliable, mostly/usually reliable, or junk, or somewhere in between? Thanks in advance. Simplicity314
Thanks...let me know how it works out! The one I need is for my Economy, and I only want to get it running for now. I want to restore my landlord first, as that one already runs...sometimes, and there is just more to the economy in the way of auto-style clutches, driveshaft, bull gears, etc. So, I know I'll be dumping a truckload of money into the thing when the time comes. Trying to count the pennies on that one.
