AC 712 Value?

What would be estimated value of 1)712 with hydrostatic shift and mower deck runs good looks fair 2) 712 with 4 speed and reverser shift with tiller and mower deck looks and runs good?

This is a question that has been asked many times. It depends how much you are willing to buy it for. Or how much the seller is willing to take. If I was in the market, I would be looking at $300 for the first tractor. And $500 for the second. Now the first tractor may have a new motor and tires and the second one needs new motor and tires. Then the dollar amounts could be reversed. It is like buying a used car. There are wide price variations.

Right now, there's a 712 hydro for sale in the Classifieds. That seller wants $ 550. If he gets his price, it's worth $ 550. The tractor is located in NY, which may make it more valuable, or not. The value of my 2 tractors is way less than what they are worth to me. Tacey

Very well said Tacey, although I paid $400 for my 712H (wife did actually as it was a christmas present:D, I had stopped and looked at it the same day that she said she wanted a new $400 cameradOd), I probably would not sell it for twice that much now. And as Ronald said the condition and location plays a big part too. Use your own judgement and ask questions pre-purchase, always better to find a problem before you buy instead of after. Greg

Thanks,I bought both tractors for $750 for the pair so I guess thats about right as I really had no idea the market on them. The tiller I need and it works good. How hard are the Brinly hitches to find that fit on these tractors as I could use one of them?

You buy the simplicity single point hitch, brinly didn't make a hitch for simplicitys. Generic name is a sleeve hitch. You need rear lift and single point hitch to run sleeve hitch implements. I believe you can still buy the parts new.
