Carb problem

I am working on a Kohler K361, 18 hp, single cylinder engine that I purchased as a basket case. I have it running but gas is dripping out of the carb at the throttle plate area and it is running too rich. I just cleaned the carb and installed a carb kit. Any ideas what my problem might be? Thanks.

Found the problem. The air horn gasket was improperly positioned. Thanks again.
