dan762
My pump went out on my 720 loader, (p/n H24206 RAC)It is a CESSNA I am wanting to know if anyone has ever replaced these, and what kind did they use. I have called a handfull of places. I have been told they are no longer avaible and that CESSNA doesn't have a replacement for them. Gary, tried your leads, and was told no longer available. There are quite a few of these little pumps in some of my magazines, HALDEX makes one that looks pretty close to it, Hate to buy it without knowing spec for sure on the old pump. CESSNA told me I would have to send in the pump and they would have to take it apart to figure out the GPM. I find that hard to believe, I thought that is what part numbers where for. Thanks in advance for any help Danny
JP
I think it's a 1250# system. I've heard of guys getting the pumps from Northern Hydraulics. (?) I had on on the shelf for a LONG time & sold it this spring.
Marty-MN
I think JP in correct on the 1250 psi and you might want to try the surplus center for pumps http://www.surpluscenter.com/home.asp?UID=2007060415124476
dan762
Just wanted to let you all know, that i ordered a pump frpm surpluscenter.com, had the same shaft size and bolt pattern as my old one, Talk about a world of difference, Now I am very impressed with the power the loader has. Thank for the info Danny
JimS
Danny, What is the part number of the pump you ordered?
dan762
The pump that I bought was a GRESEN, It is about 1 GPM for every 1000 RPM's, I learned more about hydraulic pumps in the last two weeks than I ever wanted to learn. I found that there is no after market pump for the cessna I had on it. This pump cost 132 dollars, It can be used either way CW or CCW and it can be used as a pump or motor. I did find a Cessna the was a lot cheaper, but it was going the wrong way. The part number out of surpluscenter.com is 9-6590, 2 bolt side port. They also have it in rear ports and 4 bolts mounting.
