sjmorgan 0 Posted June 5, 2007 Does anyone know what this bracket is for and where it is mounted? It's been sitting in the "box-o-parts" and I keep thinking it needs a home on the tractor.
Kent 436 Posted June 5, 2007 It goes on the left upright bar on the back of the "round-hood" tractors, which has the seatpan hinge-mounted at the top. It is a stop that holds the seat pan up when you raise it, leaning slightly more toward the back -- so it will stay up. If you'll look closely, you can see the top of it sticking up over the rear lift on this Big Ten picture. Kent 436 Posted June 5, 2007 Here's a better view, from the Big Ten that I put together out of pieces/parts:
Learning 6 Posted June 6, 2007 Hey Kent thanks for the info. I have two B-1's and one of the brackets is mounted on the left and the other is mounted on the right. I wondered which one was correct. After examining the one mounted on the right, I realized the hitch had been modified and the bracket was moved. Another mystery solved.
