Kent
I'd LOVE for someone to make an affordable set of aftermarket adapters... Well over $100 a pair is just not in my price range, when you have to start adding up the potential cost of wheels, tires, etc. There was a guy selling a different style of adapters on eBay for a while that used the wheel weight mounting bolts, and he offered them in different lengths, so you could match up the wheel/tire combos you wanted to use... mgodzilla
What is this about the "mother load" and making your own. Is there an old post or article I can access? I found a guy on ebay selling dual wheel spacers or adaptors for $65 plus shipping. He will even customize them to different widths. They look very well built. I am thinking of adding pair on my AC 416. With the loader high up it rocks a bit and plus DAULLYS are cool. Search ebay for "dual spacers". I post a link when I get back on later. mgodzilla
I educated myself on the search function. It is not entirely straight forward from just the search command but I managed to get a custom search going and found the "mother load" and dual wheel idea from Fastpaul. DUALLY! The guy on ebay I talked about used square tubing in the middle, pressed and welded into laser cut circular steel ends with boltholes. It used standard bolts since the square tubes do all the lengthening.
