1690821 model grass catcher

I don't see this manuf. # in the "what fits" section. This may be beacuse it's from a newer machine. I'm wondering if anyone knows if this could be adapted to fit a 712? maybe someone has even tried this before?? Thanks.

This grass catcher system is designed for the small frame lawn tractors with right hand discharge. The 712 is a large frame garden tractor with left hand discharge. Everything would have to be switched from right side to left side and a deck adaptor made to fit the 712 left side discharge deck. As the saying goes with the right tools anything can be made to work, most times not as good as intended. To me this would be more work than it was worth. But each to his own.
