Unkle Spike 0 Posted June 16, 2007 I bought the tractor a couple of weeks ago, and the mower belts jumped, it didn't have a belt on it, I suspect that is why it sold so cheap. I built this belt guide for the center idler in my shop and it works like a charm, the original "rod" type were missing. One other thing I did was took a crescent wrench and flared the edges of the two outer sheet metal guards to keep the belt from snagging on them. I went about a quarter inch deep, and flared them out about 3/16".

HubbardRA 19 Posted June 16, 2007 Nice work! 1/4 inch rod is mighty handy for making belt guides. Mad a couple myself.:D
