a buddys looking for some info on his old craftsman. i have never seen one. is this the first craftsman after the sears/david bradleys maybe?.

I don't about the tractor, but I have a dozer blade here off of a sears simpson. I was told the sears simpson were a canadian division of sears.

Wish I could be more help but I do know the 917.8360 & 917.8370 are both 1965 36" rotary mowers
