dallenx
I blew a seal on one of the bucket pistons where it comes out of the housing the other day and I need some advice. I called Sandy Lake and they helped me locate the two seals that I need and gave me the numbers for two other shops to call. When the other shop I called pulled the part off the shelf they said it was no good because of dry rot and the second store I haven't heard back from. Has anyone rebuilt there hydraulics on these loaders? Would a local shop that does this kind of work be able to locate a generic seal? My tractor is down 'hard' until I can get this fixed. StanD
Should only be O-rings for seals, thats all I have ever replaced. StanD
dallenx
I pulled the piston apart and took the pieces into a local hydraulics place and they had just what I needed. Ten bucks to ID the two o'rings and front seal and seven bucks for the parts. Tractors back up just in time today.
