Hi, I'm about to start a top end rebuild on a 12hp horizontal crank Tecumseh engine in a Roper tractor. Can anyone help with the headbolt torque ect and the valve clearances please? Thanks.

Hello. We would really need to know what the model number of the engine is.

Would be the number stamped onto the cowling or is it likely to be somewhere else? I'll have a look later and see what I can find. Thanks, Rob.

Aha, learning all the time. Now, would a head from an OHV130 fit?
