MarksA-C 93 Posted July 21, 2007 Well, it got a nice nap in the garage now that I've been working on the 707 rstoration. I ould say that it was sitting for about a feww to 10 days. Put in some fresh gas and it started right up as always. Just doesn't seem right though. It wasn't getting good RPMs and it was loosing power like crazy. Not much surging, just sudden loss of power. It also dies out alot. I don't know whats going on with it. If its about time for the engine to get a rebuild, I'll wait and give the entire tractor one. But first I need it to work. Thank You Mark-
firefoxz1 4 Posted July 22, 2007 My first thing would be to check the "fresh" gas. From there I would take the carb bowl off and check what is in there paying close attention to what drains out when taking it off. I try to put a little container underneath to catch the drainage for analysis.
