Chris727 1,851 Posted July 27, 2007 Hi. I was going to put new seals, keys, and needle bearings in my early b-10's bgb and found that the input shaft is worn where the needle bearing rides on it. The funny thing is that it is only worn about a 1/3 of the way around the shaft's circumference. This is the 2nd one of these I have seen like this. I plan to replace with new but am having trouble determining the right part#. The "landlord" group parts book on microfiche lists the same part #157426 for all 3 speed models prior to variable speed. No # for the earlier shaft is listed. The early B-10 and 9hp landlord 990314 use a different shaft with a moon key instead of having a long keyway for a piece of keystock where the driveshaft flange connects. Does anyone know if the earlier and later shafts are physically interchangeable? Thanks in advance. Chris
