UCD 14 Posted July 28, 2007 It is not a chipper. It is a a shreader/mulcher/grinder.
perry 1 Posted July 28, 2007 well heck, i dunno?. maybe it is a mulcher/shredder. the one sticker on the side says to make sure that the rod going threw the middle is in place when debri is sticking out threw the top. and it has a picture of tree limbs. i believe the rod is in there as a stopper for a tree branch? so it does'nt just spin around. the blades dont have a sharp edge they are squired off all around. Ketchamized 2 Posted July 28, 2007 Perry, If it cuts any wood, it probably can only cut branches up to 1" circumference. It's definitely not meant for anything bigger than that. It's still a great find. It's a good way to dispose of branches and use it as mulch. And burn the bigger pieces in a fireplace. :o)
