jworth Posted August 4, 2007 Posted August 4, 2007 Here is one of my other Denton Threshers Reunion purchases. I have installed new rings, new front oil seal and new gaskets. Getting all the parts sure takes timesm00 I just finished a putting it back together today and still need to tinker with carb some. This is the only thing I really don't like but I can live with itsm02

shanhamm Posted August 4, 2007 Posted August 4, 2007 I have the same crack in my Wards Squire hood. I was thinking of trying to weld it together and grind it smooth.

TomMaryland Posted August 5, 2007 Posted August 5, 2007 That looks nice! I have some of that low temp rod from alumaloy (steelaloy, and SSaloy) that works great on that kind of crack. Ive done a few of those and you cant tell unless you get to bare metal to inspect it!
