I am repairing the bucket on my AC 720 w/Ark 700 loader. I want to make it so I can easily replace the cutting edge on it. Where can I get a 48 inch pre fabbed bolt on cutting edge from? thanks

Catapillar dealer or Deere ind. dealer will have relacement cutting edge grade steel. Also there should be several places around that sell aftermarket repair materials for earth moving equipment.

also check with your local snowplow dealer for a cutting edge

if you don't need anything fancy check local township shops for old used grader blades. they replace when they get worn to one side. just my two cents. matt

Carbuff, I'm married to my cousin, so i don't need teeth. LOL:O:o) (kidding) Actually I thought about teeth, but I think i would not need them more than need them.

Bill dirtmister has the idea. Check with your County/city road department. The "take-offs" from graders or snowplows have plenty of life in them for a loader. For that matter, they make great mid-mount grader blades(most are 6-8" or so tall). Of course you'll have to cut them to length and drill them but hey, salvage is better then retail any day! Larry
