What is this piece for?

I bought this Simplicity tractor for parts and it has the bracket on the back. I was told it was for a tiller. It moves up and down with the handle that raises and lowers the deck.If thats what it is, is it worth anything without the tiller attachment? Thanks, Danny Picture links deleted non paying registered users are not allowed to post pictures nor links to personal pictures Sorry

It would be a rear lift for various rear attachments not just a tiller. Plug your model number (990xxx or 169xxxx) on the upper right on the home page and see if they have an attachments manual for that tractor to see the different attachments available.
