mower deck vacuum chute

Has anyone fabricated a vacuum collector chute for their mower deck? I have a '66 Landlord 2010 with mower deck. I bought a vacuum attachment without the hoses or chute that attaches to the deck. I've looked around and found I can purchase a new one for $200. Personally I think it's a pretty simple attachment. I believe I can fabricate one with 20 gauge sheet metal in my garage. But I was wondering if anyone else here has done such a thing? If I'm successful would anyone here be interested in having one made too? While I'm making one I figure it would be easy enough to make a few more. Jason

I don't recall anyone trying it, but it would be any relatively easy thing to do. Good luck and let us know how you make out.
