tdg 0 Posted August 26, 2007 Hi fellas, How should one go about rebuilding the blade assemblies (for lack of better name?) on a Broadmoor 738 deck? I've got the cover off my deck as the belt popped off last week, found that the pulley on the main shaft was cracked, and the idler pulley had seen better days as well. While I've got it apart I'd like to rebuild the rest as the deck is very loud (whooshing/whirring sound) when the deck is engaged, and when moving the blades by hand, theres quite a bit of slop in the assemblies. What all parts need to be replaced to fix this, the manual shows a lot of parts in those assemblies, but does it just new bearings needed or more? Thanks! RayS 79 Posted August 26, 2007 As long as the arborshafts are not worn out where the bearings ride and the keyways are in good shape in the shafts you shouldn`t have to replace anything but the bearings.
